About The Men of London Series

Set in the cosmopolitan landscape within the city of London come these diverse and exciting stories about men meeting their match and finding love.

I love writing this series. It’s my first time creating something in a series with as many books as this one, and each one has its own tale to tell. All books stand alone on their own merits- but I’d say it’s always better to get to know all the characters in a series like this one. It becomes like an extended family, and you can laugh, cry and empathise with them all.

From Soho to Norwich, there’s no escaping love.

An award-winning chef with his own restaurant and an inexhaustible passion, Gideon Kent once had everything. Then came tragedy. It stole more than Gideon’s home. He hasn’t cooked since.

Until Eddie Tripp. Fun-loving and vivacious, the Norfolk redhead’s a real up-and-comer in Gideon’s kitchen—and other places. Slim where Gideon’s broad, easy-going where Gideon is growly, he and Gideon seem polar opposites, and yet Eddie conjures flavors that would tempt anyone with a taste for perfection. The sauce of love is already simmering, and this pair is about to dine on the most delicious dish they’ve ever prepared. Because Eddie’s been Gideon’s missing ingredient all along.

From Charing Cross to Waterloo, there’s no escaping love.

28-year-old Draven Samuels has a tragic past, but as an investigator with a high-profile London company he now gets what he wants. Tough, sarcastic, and sceptical, he has no patience for lies and even less for people who waste his time. Even if they’re as beautiful as the wild and dark-haired Taylor Abelard. Especially when they’re talking over the body of a murder victim.

Psychic Taylor Abelard is used to people calling him a freak. He can see past events and feel the ghostly vibrations of people close to him who’ve passed on. It’s why he doesn’t get too close to the living. But this time, against his better judgment, despite Draven’s mocking rejoinders, Taylor will get closer than ever before. The mystery of a dead friend will lead the two men down a dark and seedy trail of blackmail and lies. Add in the heartbreak of a family tragedy, and events lead them straight into each other’s arms. By the end of this night, all their demons will have risen—and been banished with the dawn.

Scarred both physically and emotionally after a motorcycle accident, twenty-five year old ex fashion model and porn star Oliver Brown is about to be stripped bare by flamboyant twink Leslie Scott—and they’ll rebuild love from the bottom up.

Twenty-five year old Oliver Brown is addicted. Two years ago, he was at the height of his career as “Nicky Starr,” fashion model, porn actor, partier without peer. Then came the accident. Hiding his scars, both emotional and physical, he’s gone into hiding. But fine clothing is some solace. A new suit by Debussy? Better even than a ride on his motorcycle Hulk or all the things he used to give and take on camera.

Enter Leslie Scott, the flamboyant, dark-haired, heel-and-tiny-short-wearing twink sent to deliver Oliver’s newest fix. A firecracker, Leslie is dapper, generous, in touch with his feminine side but all man, and as gorgeous as any garment ever made. He makes Oliver dream of ending his reclusion, of recapturing a future forever denied him. But for that to happen, Leslie would have to strip him to the bone. Only then will they rebuild life from the bottom up.

Nicky even has his own porn site –  Nicky Starr. And yes it is definitely 18+ rated.

Though they went their separate ways, Tate Williams and Clay Mortimer have been crazy about each other since their school days. Clay went into the SAS. Tate became a cop. Neither mentioned their attraction to the other. Both sought out danger. Both found it.

Imprisoned and shot in an undercover assignment gone wrong, Tate somehow survived…and found his way back into Clay’s arms. His old friend is now the owner of an elite investigation agency and everything any man could want: patient, handsome, commanding. And Clay knows what it takes to survive. But Tate can’t bring himself to share all his secrets, nightmares that force him to rebel against everything. He finds solace from his past as a graffiti artist, a childhood passion, but his demons drive away all who might care for him. Only when he faces that past—and learns that everyone has tasted despair—can the two men truly be brothers-in-arms…and more.

Tough in business but romantic at heart, fashion designer Lenny James isn’t hiding his masculinity behind his super successful female alter ego, but a vulnerability that only handsome financier Brook Hunter will be man enough to reveal…and worship.

It’s amazing what a little mascara and lipstick, a blonde wig, false boobs, and top-notch female fashion can hide. Not that Lenny James is hiding his masculinity. He uses his normal voice when he’s Laverne, and he’s not particularly camp as a man. His reasons for creating his alter ego are locked deep in his past. He is who he is: tough in business, and a romantic at heart. What he’s hiding is vulnerability. He wants a man to accept both sides of him.

Gorgeous, commanding, and dark as sin, Brook Hunter meets Lenny and knows nothing about Laverne until fate pushes her into his path. Cross-dressing is as far from Brook’s reality as fashion is from his world of diplomacy and high finance. Understanding and truth take time, and trust doesn’t come easy. But Brook is about to show Lenny that there are no sides to true love, just the place where they meet in the middle.

Flight attendant Maxwell Lewis has spent years cultivating a bon vivant image only to find he finally wants something more—and that something more includes the never-does-repeats game designer Gibson Henry.

Maxwell Lewis is proud of the life he’s made. Having turned tragedy into triumph, he’s now a beloved member of a Target Airlines cabin crew with more than his fair share of attention both in the air and on the ground. But lately he’s wanted something more than the occasional hook-up or sometime sex buddy—particularly after meeting game designer and passenger Gibson Henry.

Talented and driven, Gibson has built a company ready to be the next big thing in gaming. Devoted to his work, he takes onetime pleasures where he find them and never does repeats…which is what he tells handsome, sexy Maxwell Lewis after a little mile-high flight attendance. But a chance encounter in a London club is about to change things forever. Two men, one who’s flown solo and another who’s only ever played alone, are about to find that at some point all games come to end, it’s time to bare your heart and try for love.

Tragedy and horror shaped Jackson Grady’s life, leaving him orphaned and scarred. At eighteen he’s ready to claim his future, but who could love his disfigured face and damaged soul? Definitely not a big, burly, beautiful Irish Traveller who is entirely the stuff of dreams.

Dare Rowan didn’t mean to become obsessed with the blue-eyed man he first saw across a field, but that porcelain skin and innocent air demanded another meeting. Jax has the face of a wounded angel, and the rest of the young man is as heart-breakingly perfect. Jax is beautiful in every way and teaching him about love and life will be something Dare will embrace. Like unwrapping and savouring the candy at the shop where he works, Dare will show this young man everything Jax desired but never thought he’d have, and take Jax to new highs while he holds him through the lows. Between them, they’ll find out just how sweet life can be.

Eco-warrior Mango Manning must shake the demons of his past to win back London nightclub owner Ryan Bishop, who is suddenly facing issues of his own.

But Mango has been loving and leaving Ryan for the past two years, and Ryan’s had enough. That’s why he’s moving on. Ryan’s the monogamous type, which means now he’ll be alone at the worst possible time.

Mango Manning knows he’s screwed up. Has commitment issues. Blah, blah, blah. That’s why he’s been so on-and-off with Ryan these past two years. He’d thought he’d found a safe haven, a place to hide from the losses of his past, but there are other demons you just can’t escape. Like Ryan’s health. If Mango is to put things right, he must man up and discover a way back into Club Delish and the heart of its owner. Only then can they look to the future together, come what may. True happiness will slip through their fingers unless they both grab on and hold tight.

Since his true love died, paramedic Eric Kirby has been living a half life, but when he meets purple-haired Kyle Tripper, Eric’s heart is jolted into a whole new rhythm.

Kyle Tripper has led an interesting life. Currently the manager of London’s famous Club Delish, he used to be a croupier extraordinaire in Las Vegas. But not everything in that life was so glamorous; his ex was a piece of work. Now gun-shy, Kyle hopes there is someone special out there for him, and secretly wishes it’s luscious paramedic, Eric Kirby.

Every day Eric Kirby goes through the motions. Yeah, he saves lives, and, sure, he makes a difference, but he doesn’t feel it anymore – not since he lost his one true. But, when he meets wild, flamboyant Kyle Tripper and learns there’s a skittish, apprehensive man beneath the bold façade, the best of Eric’s protective nature kicks in, and opens his heart to a new love.

Leslie’s feeling the season in a big way, after the Kissmas Drag Stravaganza at Club Delish, he plans to ask Oliver to marry him, but, as with all things Leslie, nothing goes quite as planned.

Leslie Scott couldn’t keep a secret if his life depended on it…and, this one’s a doozy. After years of blissful co-habbing, Leslie plans to ask the love of his life, Oliver Brown, for his hand in marriage. Leslie agrees to help with the Kissmas Drag Stravaganza at his dear friend’s nightclub, Club Delish, which is also the site of the impending proposal. Every detail is planned with Swiss watch precision: enjoy the show, bring Oliver back to a private room, seduce him then pop the question. But, as with all things Leslie, his scheme goes tits up. Never one to shy away from drama and public displays of affection, this proposal turns out to be one for the books.

A funny thing happened on my way to this book review. To explain, I sat down to my iPad, pulled up Ms. Mac Nicol’s book that I had downloaded got comfy and started to read. The book was riveting, I couldn’t put it down. Read it in one weekend! My dualer, Penny Nichols, had just sent me her review. I opened it to send to edits, and gazed at her words about chef and restaurant. To my amazement, I had not read the correct book, but got to read another book that this talented author has written…a story I will review in the future. The reason I am telling you this story in this review, is because I did get a better glimpse into this new to me author and her writing abilities. This author is not a one-shot wonder!

Both Gideon and Eddie were like night and day. Gideon Kent has had a near death experience. He was involved in a tremendous fire where his friend died, burning to death in front of him while he was badly burned and pinned to the ground, held down by a fallen beam.  His career took a left turn when he returned to his Soho restaurant Galileos, since Gideon lost his sense of smell and taste.

Eddie Tripp is an up and coming sous-chef at Galileos. He is in all the write ups for the up and coming chefs making Gideon wince at the thought it should be him. But Eddie has not escaped Gideon’s dreams with his red hair and eyes the color of emeralds Eddie shares a flat with two other mates, Taylor and Leslie, great secondary characters. Eddie has some very sexy thoughts about his tall dark and angry boss Gideon.

Another interesting secondary character is Carmen, the right hand to Gideon and the needed female relief in our story aside from the prissy Leslie. The coming together of these two people with a push here and a nudge there works. The steamy scenes are just what the doctor ordered for Gideon and Eddie, as they both learn about being two becoming one. Ms. Mac Nicol has written a charming love story, with magical overtones. I loved it!

Review for The Bow Tie Killer I read in error Love and Punishment will be written soon. Look out for it

Gideon Kent is the owner of SoHo’s premier restaurant Galileo’s and a chef who can no longer cook due to losing his sense of smell and taste in a horrific accident.   Eddie Tripp is an up and coming sous-chef at Galileo’s.  He is also the bane of Gideon’s existence with his flaming red hair, infectious smile and cooking skills to rival Gideon’s own.  For Gideon everyday life is hell, a chef who can’t cook in his own restaurant and who has to watch not only another gifted chef shine but also lust after him as well.  For Eddie life is pretty good, he gets to shine at what he does best and occasionally get glimpses of his oh so fine boss.  Two men, similar and yet different, both longing for something else and neither sure if they should reach for it.

Ms. Mac Nicol gives us a fine little romance wrapped up with some good behind the scenes restaurant peeks and some really great secondary characters and stories.  Gideon is very alpha male, with a temper that’s explosive and the looks that anyone would appreciate.  He is understandably bitter about his handicap; he used to be one of the best chefs around and now can’t even cook in his own restaurant.    He can be a bit overbearing and at times, a little hard to like.  Eddie is just a pure joy, he is loyal to his friends, fun to be around, a little clumsy which is very endearing and has a smile that no one is immune to.   How could you not like him?  Both were great guys to get to know and watching them interact with each other was both fun and sad at the same time.

I’m a sucker for a good secondary character and there are a number of them in this book.  They were well written and, frankly, I found myself wishing I could get to know them better.  Eddie’s roommates Leslie and Taylor are as opposite as day and night yet they work and there has to be a story as to why they are so close.   Gideon’s secretary/office manager Carmen is just one fun woman, she can handle Gideon with one hand tied behind her back.    There is also a little secondary story going on in the background with Eddie’s cousin, which helped us understand Eddie a little more.

I love a good romance and this story certainly qualifies as such but I must caution, there are some pretty explicit sex scenes here.   They fit into the story and aren’t just thrown in, but they are there so if that’s not your cup of tea, this book might not be for you.  My one little niggle was the ending seemed a little rushed.  No, it’s not one of those horrid cliff hangers and there is a definite ending but it just kind of left me wishing we had maybe a page or two more for closure.   That aside, this is a pretty fast paced book and for lovers of romance, food, angst and a little comedy, this is just what the doctor ordered.

GLORIA: Good to meet again Penny, it certainly has been a while. Make yourself comfortable, and let’s talk Susan Mac Nicol’s Men of London Series……I must admit my faux pas at first reading the wrong story. I had another book from this same author stored in my kindle and just started reading. To my surprise and maybe horror, I couldn’t understand your speaking of a chef that lost his sense of taste. I was horrified because I was reading about a serial killer…..talk about slicing and dicing. To get on with our review, I loved the opposites of the two main characters, didn’t you?

PENNY: LOL, well look at it this way, you got a two for one deal.   It’s been a long time since we’ve had a dual but my sword remains sharp so I’m ready.   I did enjoy the two main characters being opposite, I’ll admit I liked one over the other but that is what made it more interesting.   Coming from a long line of restaurateurs ranging from my grandmother who owned a restaurant to two brothers who are chefs, one brother who is a line cook and another brother who manages hotels/restaurants, the topic of a chef who couldn’t smell or taste just pulled me in.   I will admit I was a little surprised that Gideon didn’t get back in the kitchen though.  I’ve seen my brother cook things he doesn’t eat and so doesn’t taste and just has someone else do the tasting for him.

GLORIA: I would imagine I could try to cook some things that I have already eaten and then lost taste, but ingredients like meat, fish or pork would change the flavor because each one you get would have its own individual flavor. But you miss the point I think, my thought was it had to do with the trauma of why it was lost, no? Having a buiding burning around you, pinned by a beam, seeing your best friend dead or dying while being burnt to a crisp…..Uggggh every time I think about it…..want to upchuck  myself. So the deep, sometimes pissy alpha finds his new up and coming chef just what the doctor ordered. Eddie was a breath of fresh air in this story, kind, patient, fun loving, loyal….I found him totally adorable. Who would have thought the adage from Twilight applied, ‘So the Lion fell in love with the Lamb’

PENNY: Ahh, but there is the rub, he wanted to be back in the kitchen and that was what made him so grumpy most of the time.  I did like Eddie, he was so cute and often saved the story for me since I didn’t always like Gideon.   The secondary characters and their stories intrigued me and I really wanted to get to know them better.   I’ll admit I’ve researched later books and found some of them appear so I know where part of my tax refund will go.

GLORIA: Yes and I can even lend you one!  About a serial killer…..I must say I really liked this story. Although a romance, it had that touch of mystery about it, which was a bit different from just  a romance with some angst to put the bump in the road. I did have ‘one niggle’ as you always call your pet peeve about a story….I needed more of the back story of the fire and his friend who died. Aside from that a good read wouldn’t you say?

PENNY: I agree with your niggle, it would have been nice, but like you said it still was a good story and you can’t ask for more than that.   See you for our next dual, I’ll keep that sword sharp.

GLORIA: I will as well Penny…..till we dual again!!!

This is sooo great…I read and reviewed the first book in this series Love You Senseless Book #1 a little over a year ago. Susan has written more in her Men of London Series and I am ecstatic to continue the journey with her.

Gideon and Eddie are now happily ensconced as a loving couple, working together at the trendy restaurant Gideon owns.  Eddie, as the Master Chef, has moved into Gideon’s heart and home leaving his two adorable roommates. One of them is Taylor Abelard.

Taylor, is a psychic, inheriting this ability from his grandmother. He has been helpful here and there helping the police, but many people think of him as a freak or charlatan.  This gift puts him often places him into a trance like state causing him to lose consciousness.

Draven Samuels, and Taylor meet again, when a mutual friend is thought to have committed suicide. Draven works for a high- profile investigation company and Taylor, thru his powers sees someone was with their friend when he pulled the trigger.  Draven has been touched with pain as well, losing his parents in a car crash, His brother also with them, now living on life support.  Draven is an eternal skeptic where it comes to the occult, only believing in what he can see.

The story was so beautiful as Ms. Mac Nicol gives us the ultimate love story. What was it Edward said in Twilight? The Lion falls in love with the lamb? We fall in love with both of these men, voyeurs as they fall in love.  As always in her writing the author shares many hot man sex moments and are these men smoking! Great second book!

This is the third book in this charming series The Men of London. Eddie, Taylor and Leslie all shared an apartment together. Eddie is a chef, meeting Gideon in book one Love You Senseless, now in a loving relationship. Taylor and Draven have found each other in the second book Sight and Sinners. Our adorable, flamboyant, high heeled sex pot Leslie Scott is feeling the Fifth Wheel Effect going out with these two gaga eyed couples.

Leslie’s boss asks him to deliver a new hand made a suit to a ‘big’ customer.  Leslie comes face to face with Oliver Brown. Leslie’s inner voice tells him that this man is broken, secluded from life.  Leslie has no filter and his mouth runs on forever charming the man. We slowly learn that Oliver Brown is the late and great Nicky Starr, porn actor, fashion model who has disappeared. We find he is in seclusion, hiding from life, hiding his scars on the outside as well as within!

Chatty Cathy, Leslie cannot shut up mentally about Oliver’s and his past exploits on every piece of furniture he owns, as we read thru his POV. I love Leslie best, he is so sweet, tender, caring and somehow is able and determined to push past Oliver’s defenses and bring him out of the shadows.

Scarred both physically and emotionally after a motorcycle accident, Leslie has his work cut out for him. Leslie is an ardent lover, and although he has a great feminine side, his strength helps Oliver deal with his hurts, and his heart…5 Stars

Okay…don’t laugh…I am on a mission. I read book two, three and four in a week …while working full time! So a lot of late nights….I live in Florida and Hurricane IRMA is bearing down and all I am thinking is how many books can I mow through by Monday; I write this Friday afternoon. Can I also mention this series is addicting?

We met Clay Mortimer with Draven as they work together in Clay’s company. We were given a hint that Draven suspected Clay was in a secret relationship. This is Clay’s book and story. Clay and Tate Williams were childhood friends; Clay three tears older, held back on his feelings because Tate was so young, when he realized he was attracted to his best friend.  Years went by, as they drifted into different phases of their lives, Tate now going deep undercover to take down a drug lord.

Losing his cover, Tate was captured, beaten, raped, cut and shot three times by the drug king-pin and thrown out of a car and left for dead like a piece of garbage. Clay has finally brought Tate gain his health, but the nightmares and the PTSD from being held captive is still taking its toll. Tate cannot work on a case, resorted to a desk makes him feel less of a man.

The feeling of helplessness of Tate and the strength of Clay battle, making their sexy time together hotter than hell. This author sure knows how to play on my heart strings and brings me to my knees in the sweetness of these two men. I cheated Ms. Mac Nicol and peaked at the next book to see who it is…..You Devil It’s Laverne….Okay I am  so there!!!!

Did I say I love this series?

This is the fifth book of the steamy Men of London Series. We have already met Laverne Debussy-Smith while reading sexy Leslie’s story in an earlier book Suit Yourself. Ms. Debussy- Smith is the business persona for owner Lenny Smith ….woman by day, sexy gay man after hours.

Although this might sound very strange, the reason behind it totally made sense to me, Lenny was never enough for his domineering father. The man hated the feminine traits his son showed. And always wanted his son to ‘man up’ While studying in fashion school, the alter ego emerged when Lenny knowing how his clothes felt on his skin as a man, wanted to feel what he would be designing for a woman. How the cloth felt, breathed, stretched; Laverne was born! Also helping his fashion sense and business savvy to be a sought-after fashion house.

Alas, this did hinder his love life. He was not a cross dresser per se or a transvestite, or someone looking to change their orientation: he just was Laverne by day, Lenny by night. This made many a suitor walk away, not comfortable with who or what Lenny was.

Brook Hunter was one tall, dark sexy man. Brook was the last one who Lenny cast aside after dating for a while. Brook had made a remark while the snuggled watching a TV show that Lenny took offence to, crossing his name off his dating list. Lenny actually liked Brook a lot……But didn’t want to go deeper after the remark. Brook worked in the financial markets, and quite by accident was thrust back into Lenny’s life.

This book was quite an adventure to read. It was fast reading, very sexy scenes with these two hot men. We get to see Leslie who is Lenny’s adorable assistant, and get togethers’ with the other couples we have met in the series. I am more than half way through this series, and find I am looking forward to MORE…Flying Solo is next!!!!

Trapped in my home during Florida’s Hurricane Irma; Sept 2017, I have been a captive audience in a need to ‘get away’. I think the three books I have read in these few days, have done right by me, taking me out of a nightmare, away from the fear and turmoil of IRMA.

We originally met Maxwell in Suit Yourself as he was Oliver’s in town hook up before Oliver met Leslie. In Flying Solo, we meet Maxwell after we read the heart-breaking Prologue. The author draws us into a riveting story, a second chance meeting, the thought that these two young men could make a life together takes on a solid, sexy heart driven story.

Stunning and sexy as hell Max, so wounded by his humble beginnings finally finds solid ground with the adorable steady Gibson. I loved the way these two managed to find their way.

Trapped in my home during Florida’s Hurricane Irma; Sept 2017, I have been a captive audience in a need to ‘get away’. I think the three books I have read in these few days, have done right by me, taking me out of a nightmare, away from the fear and turmoil of IRMA.

We originally met young Jax in Feat of Clay, when Tate was introduced to the half- way house for abused children. Jackson the teenager was so beautiful and so maimed by his drunk step-brother. So, when I see the title Damaged Goods I had hoped our author would give us Jax’s story. If in fact it was, I hoped that Ms Mac Nicol would find the right young man to give our Jax love and peace. Wow……she did not miss the mark, introducing the ‘Candyman’ Dare to be the one!!!!

Jax and Dare came from totally opposite lifestyles. Jackson came from wealth, scarred and orphaned at a young age. Kildare came from a Traveller’s camp on the outskirts of the city, leaving the gypsy compound and finding a job in a Sweet Shoppe in the city. When Jax runs into Dare at their local mall he can’t believe the stunning, muscular young man could possibly be interested in him,

The story is poignant, and sweet. The bloom of young love, first love touches your heart. The joining of these two is slow and sensuous and sexy and hot. Jax is adorable wanting everything he has missed for eighteen and a half years to happen NOW.

Dare is patient, tender and a good man. They both have a chance to work through their issues as their relationship grows. It is all I would want for this beautiful boy. Great read!

I will admit, I have been binging on Ms. Mac Nicol’s Men of London Series for the past two months. I reviewed the first book Love You Senseless when released in October of 2014. I loved it and lost track as we readers can do, noticed #9 was releasing and ran amok!!

I love how the author ‘sets the reader up’ letting us have glimpses of the characters, before they have their own book. It’s nice to sorta have a feel for who they are, or where they are in life. This story is no exception as we met Ryan Bishop in Suit Yourself. Ryan was Lenny’s ‘friend with benefits’ (which ended quickly when Lenny met Oliver). Ryan a sexy nightclub owner loves to take the drag stage with Lenny on those nights when the risqué duo makes the crowd go wild.

Ryan and Mango Manning have been hooking up for a few years. Mango who can’t commit has again has left town and Ryan one time too many.  THIS IS IT Ryan says for the 90th time……But just maybe…. Mango is ready, to stop all the running and not want to come home to an empty apartment.

Certainly, this is a story of Mango learning he has to give, and Ryan sticking to his guns and not making it easy for Mango to get back into his life. Our author not only did that but made Mango a hero in my eyes not the jerk I thought him…..Very Good Work Ms. Mac Nicol….Never thought you could do that!

Also realize that I am going to read Book 9…The Last of the Series…..Cannot wait but am sad….The Last of the Series…..Or is it?

This last book for me to read in this series Survival Game Book #9 could not have been better. Kyle is the sexy purple eyed, purple haired manager of Ryan’s Club. He is certainly hot, but we learn of the damage.

Eric lost his love in a terrible climbing accident. Saving people when he couldn’t save his lover is how he tries to make up for the loss as a paramedic. The two are brought together in book #8 when an ambulance is called for Ryan at the club. Their schedules almost come between them, then their issues, then Cupid does his thing and it’s on!!!

These two were something together. Kyle suffered from an abuser. He now still has PTSD flashbacks. Eric still can see his lover falling from his arms down a mountain and his guilt that he lived makes what he does saving people good and bad.

I have gotten in touch with the author and have asked her 3 questions about this series…let me share them with you….

  • What character did you fall in love with writing?

I must say I adored writing the character of Leslie in Suit Yourself. I am a HUGE Adam Lambert fan and as I wrote this feisty, cheeky diva called Leslie Tiberius Scott, I could see Adam’s influence, especially in the looks department. ?

Leslie tended to bring out the mothering side in me, as he himself is quite the little mom figure, looking after everyone else, especially Oliver.

  • Who was the hardest character to write?

I think the toughest one to write was Jax from Damaged Goods. Not only did I have to dig deep into the past and bring out my inner teen (and boy was that a long time ago!) with all the emotional angst that went with it, I also had to learn what it was like to be poorly-sighted and make allowances for this in the story.

  • Will there be another book?

I don’t want to say no, because I do have a plan for another book bringing Louis from Survival Game and Callum, the rock star from Hard Climate together. However, in all honesty, I have no idea when this might be. My writing schedule is pretty much scheduled up till 2020 as things stand with everything I’m working on. So, unless I win the lotto and am able to give up the day job, this book isn’t going to happen soon.
